Willingness to make tough choices sounds ominous, like there's maybe going to be more turnover than we first may have expected. Heck, any of us could make tough choices. Doesn't necessarily mean they'll turn out to be good ones.

former Calgary GM Brad T is definitely not the answer….his teams went nowhere fast just like the Leafs….bad bad idea….Leafs are going from bad to worse….what a joke….hire Hunter and get rid of Shanny….if you think 100lb finesse players will do it in the playoffs then your crazy….the top 4 players would not crack an egg during a game and never find themselves in a corner….what a joke ….Dubas should not have been allowed a free rein and Shanny is solely responsible for allowing it to happen…..

Glad that Dubas is gone. Leafs need more testosterone in the front office and on the bench who can change the soft culture and comfortability that the Leafs had. No more music during practice, no more purses as part of game day outfits, no more Mickey Mouse shirts from Marner. I expect pure professionalism and accountability when the coach needs to call out players, he doesn't have to retract what was said so it doesn't hurt the player's feelings. If the prima donnas don't like what the new management will have in store, they can go right out the door and no one will shed a tear

IF ShanaPLAN Shanahan was prepared to offer Dubas was a new contract, does that mean he had "bite" and was "willing to make tough decisions"? If Dubas didn't posess those skills, why was he so willing to resign him??? And, what has Treliving done that inspires the "brilliant" Shanahan? Was it seeing Tkachuk and Goudreau leave? Perhaps it was Treliving's wonderful loooong term, verrry expensive contracts for 30 year-olds Kadri and Huberdeau. The contracts were excellent FOR HUBERDEAU and KADRI!!!! If a dumbass like me can predict Dubas and Mathews leaving back in November, surely "experts" on your show should have known…no? I also predicted the Leafs (under the eagle eye of the wizzard ShanaPLAN Shanahan) would go into a tail-spin and begin a ShanaPLAN 2.0. Effectively, he squandered their window of opportunity but as the Grandmaster, he can lay the blame on anyone…including Coaches in the Manures.
Kyle Dubis should only be allowed to work in a minor league team, to match his mental development.
