I’m now an official Kyle Dubas hater. Enough of this self loathing nonsense about his going to another team and winning the cup right away. He’s been a GM for 5 years and hasn’t won anything, turns around and asks for the same money as his boss. Shanahan and the Maple Leafs organization are going to make it their mission to make Kyle Dubas regrets his decision.

Dubas is awesome, but just for context – Vegas is currently in their 14th playoff series in their 6th year of existence, despite missing the playoffs one season. The Leafs have appeared in 8 series in 18 years with 10 of those missing all together. Many of those years were terrible player contracts acting as boat anchors. I’m terrified of his replacement…

People are acting like he was a GM and coach that single handily led us to multiple cups. In reality he got handed the keys to a well oil machine and could barely get it passed the finish line.
