Unbelievable. Slavin’s stick gets caught in Burns’ skate blade. Slavin has no stick. Burns can’t get to the net. Tkachuk is standing at the net. My cat would have scored on that play. Canes can’t get a break.
We need some goals and just fight hard for 3 periods. Guys need to treat this as if our season is on the line tonight and it is.
I hate to break it to you guys but this series is over! I knew as soon as I saw the results of the first game that our fate was sealed. As disappointing as it is I'm not even mad. I honestly didn't even expect us to make it this far. It was only a matter of time before our offensive luck ran out. It's been inconsistent all season long. When the only players scoring goals is your 4th line defenseman that's not a recipe for a Stanley Cup. Florida is just a team on a really hot streak right now and look damn near unstoppable!
