  1. This team shot themselves in the foot too much and eventually it all collapsed within their footless legs✌️

  2. You can talk about the goaltending decision all you want, theirs played better. The game management by the refs and the league was abysmal, how many high sticking calls were missed? Questionable suspensions and suspension lengths. But ultimately, certain players not showing up for this series when counted was the difference. Nuge and Kane were non factors the last two games.

  3. And now the whole team will leave Edmonton with there millions until the season starts again. Remember that when you spend 600 for 2 seats…they aren't the community.

  4. Woodcroft kept putting everything on the back of a rookie who wasn't quite ready even though Campbell had looked back to his old self down the stretch and then in relief during the playoffs. Should have played Campbell after he saved the team's bacon against LA.

  5. This loss is on the coach shoulders, starting Skinner who’s let in the first goal in these playoffs on first shot, Campbell should’ve started and yanked on any weak goal, giving Skinner like so many times this season a chance to be the hero and comeback win. Oh well better luck next season.

  6. Trade Nugent-Hopkins for defensive help and for Gods sake, get a real goalie. Skinner isn’t going to cut it.

  7. As a knights fan the oilers scared the heck out of me. I feel the team is built to win it all but they lack the coaching to instill a defensive mindset to get them over the hump. They are so close and will be back strong next year.

  8. A deserved lost by the Oilers. Woodcroft's infatuation with starting Skinner has got to be the worst coaching decision in the history of hockey. The Oiler's are out because of Woodcroft.
