Assessing potential arena sites for the Arizona Coyotes in the Valley

Tempe citizens’ decision to reject the Arizona Coyotes’ proposed arena and entertainment district has left the team scrambling to find a long-term solution. While pundits around North America are calling for relocation, finding a permanent home elsewhere in the Valley seems to be the priority. So where can the Yotes call home?

Craig and Leah go through the options, from Fiesta Mall to tribal lands and everything in between. The arena saga continues on today’s PHNX Coyotes Podcast!

  1. Seeing some of the old estimates on renovating the Coliseum, it seems buying it outright & updating it may be a budget-friendly-er & faster option than brand new builds elsewhere. We can't deny there is Arizona hockey history in that building.

Downside is no way to expand for additional revenue at the fairgrounds aside from a second tenant.

  2. Craig Morgan needs a headset. He keeps distancing himself from thje mic, and I can barely hear him.

  3. Thanks for getting to my question. I hope this arena situation is resolved soon

  4. IF ALEX MARIRELLO was out of the picture(NO LONGER THE OWNER), I'd vote to have them anywhere. THE RESIDENTS OF THE VALLEY KNOW THE HISTORY! The lies out of the ownership have been long proven!

  5. Tempe residents are overjoyed, we didn’t add any more Trash Coyote fans! 😂🎉🙌 🖕🏽

  6. Wow…Craig is HOT over this NYPost article. This just proves that everybody will write hyperbolic click-bait to throw red meat to their confirmation bias readerships.
