We throw the rats at the end of every game we win. That’s the tradition now. The NHL only banned the rats after ever goal, but we have never stopped throwing them in 27 years.

My dad (from Chicago, living in Fort Lauderdale at the time) saw the Avs lift the cup after game 4. Imagine bringing thousands of rats to the finals game and you get shut out and lose in triple ot to lose the series 😭
