Bobrovsky surpasses Tkachuk as Conn Smythe favourite after Game 3

The Hurricanes are on the brink of elimination after being shutout by Sergei Bobrovsky and the Panthers in Game 3, but it didn’t come without controversy as Rod Brind’Amour was irate at a missed high-sticking call late in the third period. TSN Hockey analyst Dave Poulin joins Jay Onrait to break down Florida’s win on Monday night.

  1. He's a Russian and shouldn't even be allowed in the NHL! Its discusting that Bettman puts a game above the lives of innocent Ukrainians.

  2. At the same time – Ghostbear made a case for winning an Oscar for that high stick. It hits the visor and he screams in pain and falls like a pine tree.

  3. Was it a high stick? Yes. Was the player embellishing like a flopping fish? Also yes.

  4. Bobrovsky obviously saved his energy for the playoffs. From a below average season to playoff mvp. His playoff GSAA is 14 which is nuts.
