In addition to Laviolette, Babcock and Vincent, the Blue Jackets have also interviewed Travis Green and Kirk Muller, among others. Per LeBrun, Jarmo has “cast a wide net” but hopes to make a decision next week.

    I wonder if the candidate we supposedly waited to interview was Patrick Roy. It would make sense to have an ex-goalie known for playing very emotionally coach a goalie who also plays emotionally.

    Even with all these names though I’m still under the belief it’s Vincent or Laviolette.

    Brooksie also reported that, in addition to Babcock, Sergei Fedorov is a name to watch (though I don’t put much into Brooksie’s reporting outside of Rangers stuff)
