  1. I can't help but be amused at the mental image of a Canucks fan smashing their keyboard over Kravtsov signing in Russia

  2. I don’t know how anyone can stand cats. So damn disloyal, that thing wants to scratch your eyeballs out, maybe it’s water bowl is a little low.

  3. As a Rangers fan I can't say I'm surprised about Kravtsov. He refused to report to Hartford in the 20-21 season and the 21-22 season, years which could've done a lot for his development into an NHL-level talent. I wish it worked out with him, but I'm happy that we don't have to worry about it anymore.

  4. It’s also funny that everyone says Florida is just getting lucky which it false but a way for some to cope.

  5. Would Kravtsov have to clear waivers to be sent to The Baby Canucks next season? If so, Vancouver might be allowing this move in order for him to continue seasoning / development, without losing him to waivers, knowing he's not ready to be a prime-time player yet. This of course is on the assumption that they qualify him with a contract extension, and then… (OR, does he still have to clear waivers to be "lent" to a European team?) I dunno! But he clearly needs to bulk up, to be at all effective in The NHL, as that seemed to be the most obvious flaw to his game when he arrived (getting bounced all over the ice). Good fortune to him!

  6. Canes just needs to get that player who can push the goals in, cant help but wonder who how different games would ahve gone with svetch in line up or/and with Pacioretty, but thats just life. To win games you need to score. THere honestly might be some big changes coming to canes forward group in offseason

  7. As a Stars fan I was concerned coming into this series against Vegas. We did well to put round 1 away in 6, and then Seattle showed some weaknesses in our play that clearly Vegas was paying attention to. Hill has been phenomenal for Vegas, and I think the wear and tear is finally getting to the guys. If we lose, no excuses, Vegas is the better team and it's showing just like in 2020 with Tampa Bay.

  8. Wow, it sure didn’t take Vancouver long to get the Krabsov. It’s only a 7th rounder, but another wasted pick in that transaction. It’s pretty tough to run under the salary cap in today’s NHL, when you’re constantly trading potential ELC’s for players who are in their second NHL deal, and, or for older guys on horrible contracts. When I look back on that OEL trade, it’s pretty ugly. All they had to do was nothing there, and they’d have Dylan Guenther coming in next season on an ELC, plus they’d be holding onto the cap space they’re paying OEL and Garland. That was a wonderful parting gift by Benning, that’s going to keep on giving for another 4 years! 🙄 The Canucks had better change their game plan of trying to skip the development stage of young players. If they continue moving draft picks for 23 year old castoffs/busts from other teams, they’re going to be at the bottom of the league, both cap management, and results wise for another decade or longer. If they start doing things the right way immediately, they’re looking at a turnaround for the better occurring much sooner.

  9. I do wish more Canes fans would realize that this has been a tightly fought series between the two teams, both Freddie and Raanta are doing everything in their power to keep it alive, and the Canes are pretty much doing everything right as much as they possibly can.
Bobrovsky is just on another level entirely right now. I mean, just look at last night's game, outshot the Cats 32-17 and lost 1-0. It's maddening, yeah, but they're giving everything they possibly got, and Bob's stopping every bit of it. Sometimes the hockey gods just hate you.

  10. Lmao at the nucks being the only team over the cap. Doesn't mean much, but, living in the market, it's funny

  11. Hurricanes are puzzling they barely beat NYI, Smoke NJ and getting Smoked by Florida. Let’s go Knights.
As for Kravtsov he’s a joke , or the Rangers definitely don’t know how to draft and develop players

  12. Honestly-Bob hasn’t looked this good in years.Florida is on a roll, and he is playing a huge part.

  13. Stars have the most goals off the transition in the league, they need to capitialize on that. Last game was a steal but major mistakes with suter and the line change in OT, they lost it themselves, Stars can easily take 2 here if they play smart. Stars in 7

  14. I don't think Florida will make it continue until the 6th round, I just do not see that

  15. Boudreau should return to his roots and coach the Mississippi Seawolves

  16. Krav leaving the league is just more proof NYR is failing to develop their picks and it's stressing me out.

  17. 5:00 … Canucks already have nearly $6 million in LTIR, which doesn't count during the off season. Hell, at the end of last season, they had just $64 million on the ice. At one point, they had three players with long-term injuries that weren't on LTIR, because it didn't matter. Buyout OEL, trade Myers after you pay his signing bonus (get the trade done NOW, just don't make it official until after) and Canucks will have nearly $20 million this season, and nearly as much next season, due to the cap going up.

If the Canucks do that, then they will be a playoff contender, even without spending money. They have enough Abby Canucks to fill the holes. They just need to play to their potential at the start of the season!

  18. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the loss of the Dallas Stars because of Peter Deboer.

  19. I doubt Kravtsov returns to the NHL again. Maybe he pulls a Radulov and goes back home to learn how to be a pro before coming back in a few years, but he seemed to bail on the Canucks

  20. Every GM knowing the Canucks are over the cap should reeeeealllly help with negotiations.

    Everything is great

  21. How does Kravstov go to KHL and not the NLA ? Or anywhere else in Europe ?

  22. Dubas is a total martyr. Every year he brought in the right guys and filled the right needs. Getting O'Reilly this year was the absolute genius thing to do. What he cannot control is the immaturity of his star players who are not that interested in winning. They seem to only look at their stats. Anyway, lets go Canes! One game at a time, boys.

  23. the finals with the best seeds: Carolina v Vegas
the finals I want: Carolina v Dallas
the finals that would be most fun: Florida v Dallas
the finals we're gonna get: Florida v Vegas
