  1. This non-apology reflects poorly on the organization. He no doubt met with their execs and PR department to decide how to handle the issue and the decision was to go with "an unfortunate incident," "emotions are high" and "in the heat of the moment" I fell on him. Hard to believe they would think anyone would believe he fell on Stone. Apparently they felt that was the best story to avoid a suspension. The non-apology, the type of player you have as captain and the type of players you bring in (Suter, Domi) give the impression that the organization doesn't value character very highly.

  2. I really hope he gets suspended for a game or two and doesn't lace them up till season and end it for him so he can have a great summer. Enjoy it Jamie . Can't even admit that he screwed up .
Oh I fell and the momentum of the fall did it. Let's go to replay .
King of Crosschecking . What a Joke . Wouldn't be so bad if just admitted to his actions.
    Let's go Vegas

  3. If only we could find a Trade Partner…but that wont happen for his blown out top heavy contract

  4. The one time he decides to go down on someone he chooses Mark Stone to get thrown out of the game and put the Stars into the abyse

  5. I'd be pretty shocked if there wasn't a real apology behind closed doors, everyone knows the intent…teammates included. He knows he cost them the game and likely the series. As much as fans want it, it's not their place. What happens in the locker room should stay there between the team. He'll wear this stain for the rest of his career and feel shit about it I'm sure. My poor Pavelski. You're still a turd Benn. And an idiot.

  6. I guess I'm the crazy one with the hot take here. Vegas fan, and yeah the play was a penalty. Yes he should also be suspended a game, but I like that he didn't apologize. I don't think he is a dirty player and he knows he messed up. But it's the playoffs. Never apologize to your enemies. Good on Benn

  7. How are you gonna say that it was a heat of the moment thing but also that you fell on him? If it was a heat of the moment situation then he intentionally did that.

  8. LOOOOLLLLL the only sentiment he has is "Itheyre up 1-0 and it put them on a 5 min penalty kill… how do you think that feels?". Wow dude. Just cuz Stone is ok doesnt mean ya shouldnt have some sentiment shitbird

  9. Yea dude… heat of the moment….unfortunate play… jacked up. BUT NOW THAT THINGS ARE CALM AND U FD UP….SAY SOMETHING THAT HAS SOME SEMBLANCE OF LOGIC DIPSHT

  10. This didn't even seem like an apology. This seemed more like an explanation with a regretful acceptance of guilt.

But Jamie, you didn't fall. You took a full second to look down at Stone and decided to do exactly what you did. What a BS attempt to sidestep reality.

With that said, can we get a Captain that doesn't sound like a shy middle schooler?

  11. 🙏praying for you Benn. I can’t imagine the stress and pressure but we all have consequences to our actions. I know you will bounce back in time. Abdicate.

  12. Everybody likes the truth except democrats, just say I got heated, and frustrated. I of course didn't want to hurt him and it looks a lot worse than it was. This is hockey and the playoffs, bad things will happen.

  13. No accountability, no acceptance, no apology, no nothing! He’s a spineless, despicable captain! And DeBoer is a despicable coach for not speaking out to say how Benn’s actions against Stone were unacceptable. I hate this whole organization and their trashy (literally) fans. I hope Vegas sweeps them in four. Make ‘em PAY!

  14. Absolute 🤡 "not fall on him and, I guess… use my stick as a landing point." Are you freaking kidding me?!!

  15. Apologize for your actions and apologize to your team for letting them down. Not this. You look like an absolute awful captain at this point.

  16. He’s a piece of garbage. He says I wish I didn’t fall on him and use my stick to break my fall

  17. He is a thug coward for not apologizing for the child temper tantrum. "… um like to not fallen him, um use my stick as a land point", speaks like lying child too.

  18. Just admit you fucked up big time and basically lost your team the game and possibly the series. Great for team morale when your captain goes apeshit in the first minute.

  19. He took Larkin out for the same thing 2 yrs ago. No suspension. Someone last yr and got suspended. Did it agian. He probably tells his wife…I tripped and landed on his dick.

  20. Dirty feckin’ player and all-around POS. Too much of a coward to own up to what his intent clearly was.

Get rid of the career goon in charge of the DoPS. Who is apparently pals with Benn. The NHL is a cluster-fuck to allow this.

  21. So now hes a complete liar too? What an idiot. You did not "land" on him. You deliberately tried to injure another captain in the league. As a Stars fan for almost 20 years, YOU DO NOT DESERVE THE C. You are not an example of a captain in the league.

  22. There was no heat or no moment. Stone didn’t do ANYTHING to cause a retaliatory type cross check. The game was a minute old so there wasn’t a build up of heat that would’ve been MAYBE a reason for being overly emotional. It was a bonehead play, that’s it!! One a 4th liner might make, not your captain and a guy with over 1000 games played. Absolutely inexcusable.
