Great show coach. Good info. Obviously, the PLD for Suzuki trade is nonsense. Yes, I know Winnipeg asked but Montreal summarily rejected it. Not sure why that is not reported as often as Winnipeg's request? I like the Edmunsen to Pitt trade. I prefer Mtl trade up but if cannot, then trade with Washington makes sense and take Leonard at 8.
I think Montreal should pass on all trade rumors, Ryan Leonard would be a smart pick.
PLD trade is ridiculous, I worry that he may turn out to be Drouin 2.0…UFA in 2024 if he really wants to be a Hab. Is a bridge contract for Caufield possible? I'd like to see how he recovers from shoulder surgery. The Washington trade is intriguing and I agree that the Pittsburgh trade may be too rich from their perspective, but it's a good one if it's true. Great show as always Coach.

I would take Michkov in a heartbeat. I would wait Dubois to come as a UFA . Anyway this whole PLD saga start with his will to come to Montreal. Lets see if this is true.

it is not a good year to pick or get a right wingner , so we will get a better player at any post and Cole and Suzuki aint going nowhere as it is not time for such trades , we are still buiding the team , count on a new goal tender and possibly a defensive player . To many rumours that wont happen
Coach, Great show I like the trade rumors. Gally to Arizona would be good for him as he could take on more leadership role with the Coyotes. Not to mention he is starting to be eclipsed by the younger talent in a rebuild.
Leonard can play Centre and on either wing. If Smith and Carlsson are gone come the 5th pick, he's going to be seriously considered.

I would take Michkov. . No UFA right-hand dmen. Stay the course unless we can trade for a young RH dman. I can not see any team taking on Gallagher's contract. If Montreal does trade down I would pick the skilled speedster Moore. In watching some of the Winnipeg-Vegas playoffs PLD was a no-show after game one. Very disappointing effort. RD situation is complicated, does Mailloux get cleared to play and do they think it's possible that he'll be be NHL ready after half a season in Laval? They're overloaded on LD, assuming they trade Eddy they'd likely have to unload someone else or two.
Other than Michkov, if the top 4 prospects are taken by the 5th pick then I'd go with Leonard with skills at both ends of the rink which the Habs need. Don't gamble a depth draft on Michkov, he's small, under contract, not cleared to transfer and could be drafted to the Russian military after his KHL contract expires…
