That’s life. This Panthers run is magical. It’s fun to watch as a hockey fan and I hope they win it all.

    Me monitoring the pick

Reminder that we don’t hate the Cats for this. We hate the Penguins

  4. JamSauce42

This was a top 10 pick at the end of January 😭, happy for Florida though

  5. oReevee

They beat the Bruins, Leafs, and now the Canes.

    Doing God’s work Panthers

Throwback to when everybody hoped/and or thought that’d be a lottery pick bringing Bedard himself.

If Habs ever get another first from a team on the bubble prob best not to over react. Florida was always a good team and tbh Bergevin was 100% correct when he used to say anything can happen in the playoffs. It’s true and largely dependent on who you have in net.

  7. Bruins, Leafs, and sweeping the Canes?

    WORTH IT.

  8. sc24Habs

It was worth it watching them beat those teams.

Reminder that I’m not upset about currently owning Florida’s 2023 1st round pick. With Florida moving on to the #Stanley Cup final, I don’t care that it will be either #31 or #32. I’m just thankful they took the Bruins and Leafs out.

I have no problem with them going for a run in the playoffs, or winning the cup, etc.

I just feel like the rebuild is hitting some unintended bumps. I don’t like it.

Bunch of bum ass teams stood in the way of Florida and the finals

  12. billsfan257

As a south Florida Habs fan this has been pretty cool. Especially when you consider who they’ve knocked out it get here. Win it all, ice cats!

  13. ObverseNebula

I honestly hope they go all the way, Bruins, Leafs, Canes, and hopefully Vegas, seeing those teams lose is worth getting the 32nd overall pick

  14. WesMcCauley

The only teams to blame are PIT / CHI / BUF.

The Panthers beat our two biggest rivals and one of the most recent “rivalry” because of those dumb offer sheets. We should be thankful.

    Go cats

  15. Snow-Wraith

Fuck the Boston Maple Leafs for blowing a 3-1 series lead.

  16. reddit_again__

Hey KK, how many games was the series?

  17. Seb_Nation

We could’ve won one game and that would’ve knocked them out of the playoffs. Worth it to see in the playoffs but still sad cause 13th overall sounds sweet as hell.

Also, a 1st for Chiarot is theft anyways.

  18. MyHipsCantLie

I’ve spent my playoffs rooting for the team playing against the panthers before changing my mind when I saw who they were playing against. Go Pantrs I guess

  19. Acidraindrops22

    LETS GO PANTHERS!!

Literally my bandwagon team and demolished 3 direct Habs rivals? Fuck yes

Fuck the pick, let’s win the cup babyyy

  20. Snoopy_021

I hope that Montreal will use that pick to draft a goalie.

  21. Green_Bastard99

Hope they meet Vegas in the finals cause then we are guaranteed another franchise winning the Cup since the Leafs were last in the finals 😂. Just keep scratching teams off of that list makes me as hard as Habs fans seeing a picture of Lane Hutson at “5’10” lol

  22. UncouthPainter

I used to care, but like, after they made the conference finals and I realized they knocked out Boston AND Toronto I was to happy to care lmfao. If they lose to Vegas ima be ticked though, go panthers baby

  23. mySuzukiisNick

Remember when it could’ve been first in November? Those were the days.

  24. Cassopeia88

Totally worth it to see them take down teams I hate.

  25. shadopup

This was destined to happen knowing the Habs’ luck. Get the #1 pick one year too early then have a pick from a team who makes it to the cup finals in the year with generational talents and great depth.

  26. Habsfan_1984

Sure it was great to watch Boston and Toronto get eliminated from the playoffs but I would much rather our team get the better player and improve the team. There’s some very intriguing players in the 14-18 range, I hope Hughes finds a way to move up to the mid round range. We have a big prospect pool at the moment if a high ceiling guy is there in the mid round range I’d move Floridas pick and our 2nd rounder to snatch them.

  27. bluAstrid

I don’t care about picks when hockey is that good!

  28. pacinosdog

I don’t understand how any real Habs fan could be happy the panthers are in the finals. This is literally hurting the Habs
