Ahh man. I was really hoping he was being groomed to take over for Lindy in a year or two.
Of all the teams in the metro… he’ll have to be even better than we thought to be any threat from there 🙂
I have a feeling we’re going to hear a lot of these rumors over the summer.
Lindy is awesome, I believe his adjustments were good vs the canes; *some* of our guys either weren’t built for the playoffs, or underperformed.
He’ll no doubt find a better replacement that can balance out leadership while Fitz gets better players and signs the keepers. Can’t wait until July.
I’m sure the coach in Utica is a viable option as well. They’ve done good things with that team but admittedly I don’t know if the style of play transfers. Who knows maybe AB chooses to stay with a winning team too. Quite the risk to go to Anaheim or CBJ where you know the team is still gonna suck ass and your job is on the line

Why would any sane person be thinking about lindys replacement..the dude just coached the biggest turn around in history and has his young team loving him and buying into his system . .wake the fuck up and realize lindy has us in year 1 of a budding dynasty thats gonna last a long time. .your only words for lindy should be ….thank you so much for choosing jersey, and of course, you know better than my non coaching keyboard warrior ass .
Not a done deal guys, remember you would have to be some kind of fucking moron to willingly go to CBJ.
I wouldn’t get too high or low on Lindy. We had one good year but no one here knows if he’s the magic sauce or Brunette. If Brunette leaves and the devils are bad next year everyone will lament the one that got away. If he leaves and we’re good again then hey Brunette didn’t add anything. If he stays and we’re bad people will want Brunette to take over. If he stays and we’re good we’re still singing Lindy’s praises.
