So wait, the Leafs have to make a decision on the core 4, make the move if they decide to and complete a draft before their GM can even work? That basically means the core is returning and the Leafs are back to groundhogs day. Only difference is, they lost the GM that was probably their best chance and now will sign a yesman that will basically just do Shannys bidding. Good luck with that.
