I would personally not hate seeing Biceps as our GM.
NHL really only has like 35 GM’s & coaches that just keep getting recycled
Firing Dubas was definitely a well thought out decision. Not a knee jerk decision at all. Just look at this great crop of replacements! Not a former failure to be found.

Reports did come out that Shanahan would speak to Bettman about potential candidates so this list doesn’t surprise me.
With that said Shanahan was still the guy to hire Dubas. He’s didn’t just become an idiot overnight. I’d imagine he’s just doing his due diligence. Dallas is still in the playoffs so if he wants Nill then he’s forced to wait anyways. If it comes out that Tulsky didn’t get an interview then I’d be concerned.
This was exactly the fears that I never understood when talking against Dubas haters these old ass has-been that it seems like every team interviews when they get rid of their GM are absolute *LANDMINES* for the Leafs to pick up.
I have no idea when these guys would have plans for the team coming in, I really hope I don’t get to find out

1. Has won the Jack Adams award
2. Knows how to build a team.
Before coaching in the NHL, he built a team at UofT that won nine national CIS titles.
He also coached the Leafs and has been a pro scout with the Leafs for 15 years.
