Kane roughing, Doughty interference- Have your say!

Evander Kane was issued a minor penalty for roughing on Drew Doughty. Doughty was called at the same time for interference. Tough Call will be reviewing the incident. Have your say!

  1. Looks like kane was just trying to go for the puck and doughty was in way so he just got outmuscled…i might be wrong

  2. I mean if you look at the core of the problem it seem like Drew is actively blocking the way so Kane cannot get to the puck carrier (he even reaches out with his arms). I am no hockey geek but I always tought that is N interference? Draisaitls "slew foot" on Kopitar is a kind of similar situation. What should the defending player do? Just accept that the way is blocked or what?

  3. Interference yes, but doughty also looks like he's setting a pick for his guy with the puck.

  4. Close to interference, but I don't think so per the letter of the law. But they were going in the same direction, and just speeding up to get in his way to me isn't enough.
Definitely roughing though (And of course, you could call interference on Kane as well). And toss in a holding-a-stick on Doughty.
