The leafs also just came out with a specialty jersey that features a Toronto raptors logo and aesthetic.
Not a fan of the logo but I like it fits the area I guess. I think I don't like it because I am not into skulls and stuff lol The font is cool right when I saw it I thought it fits the pirate theme

Tampa totally missed an opportunity,with regard to the 2010 rebrand. They should've used a royal or navy blue and silver color scheme (like the Dallas Cowboys dark uniforms),to tie them in with the Rays,and not have them look so similar to the Maple Leafs. The navy with that shade of gold would've been nice,too. Not crazy about that logo, though,but the name and number fonts are nice. Vegas could've used those,and it would've really stood out for them

I love it! The pirate theme is great and sailing the seas still deals with lightning. I understand the gold but I would like to see just a black and white look. Lastly, the subtle "Arrrrrre" cracked me up!

Gasparilla Pirate Festival will take place on January, 29th: "The Gasparilla Pirate Festival is a large parade and a host of related community events held in Tampa, Florida almost every year since 1904" (wikipedia) 😉
I love that logo. This jersey makes me think that they should change their brand to something black their jerseys are boring to me now
I’m a Lightning fan, I loved this jersey! I wish we had better jerseys. But with the team being successful I doubt they would change the brand or look of the team.
Looks like maybe they are preparing for a Buccaneer Night or something.
I appreciate you sharing more of the specialty warmup jerseys. San Jose has been doing that for decades and they usually have some really sick designs (check out the Los Tiburones jerseys). Would love to see more of them get promoted on here.
I love it! I dislike the current logo bcuz i think it needs to be replaced but wow the additions here make the logo so much nicer. I think as an alternate with more color can really be a seller.

In case anybody is wondering, Gasparilla is a major event in Tampa this time of year. It’s basically a pirate themed Mardi Gras and one of the biggest parades in the country. That’s why there’s a pirate theme going on with this awesome jersey. It ties the team to a local tradition.

God Tampa should be using that or even their other black jersey as their home. Tampa as a hockey market is weird to me, but their success can’t be ignored, I just wish so desperately that they had better marketing. I’m sure there are people who like it, but their current look always feels like an EA NHL create your own team, it’s just so simple and boring IMO
I'd like to see them do a regular game alt with this pirate theme, and hold it for when the Lightning play the Kraken or the Blue Jackets, you know, something to where they can make a story or something like that, if that makes ANY sense at all, lol
That being said, if Tampa wants to go with the pirate theme there, well…I don't see the Bucs having an issue, hell, they might see it as a brotherhood thing.

Jerseys shit! You think they would even at least use the lightning colors. All the Tampa Bay jerseys from when they were first conceived in the NHL to now suck big balls. They really do. One of the worst in the NHL

I think someone already said this but here in Tampa we have the Gasparilla parade every year. This is going to be worn during warm-ups during the Gasparilla weekend. These are amazing.
