Everyone was WRONG about Jack Eichel

Jack Eichel has proved everybody who has doubted him wrong, especially the Buffalo Sabres. Eichel has been one of the best players in the Stanley Cup Playoffs so far. He has been leading the way for the Vegas Golden Knights. He has become a complete forward who has been dominating in all areas of the ice. Eichel has been contributing both offensively and defensively. This is why he has been playing to his superstar potential. It looks like the Sabres have made a mistake rushing Jack Eichel in his development.

I would have to disagree with your assessment, here along the Lake we were not "wrong" about jackie vegas (jv), he asked to leave before his neck became an issue, with that written the Sabres have ascended to a higher level of success once he was removed.
Last night the home rink "gave" a primary assist to jv on Mr. Barbashev's unassisted goal, jv lost control of the puck in the neutral zone, Mr. Johnston had control of the puck in his defensive zone and lost control of the puck along the dasherboards, Mr. Heiskanen had jv lined up and when he went to check him jv spun out of the way and never touched the puck, never looked at the puck nor did it deflect off of him as the puck just dribbled away from the Dallas players from the dasherboards and Mr. Barbashev picked up the loose puck skated in and scored… there was no assist.
So sure jv leads the Knights in points, but does he?
I literally listened to a broadcast announcer call jv a "master playmaker" and then reflected out loud that he had only one point in the series, incredible how they hype him up.
What sin city got "wrong" was Mr. Tuch and Mr. Krebs.
I am not bitter, I hope that jv has recovered physically and can play to his potential.
I hope my response is not considered belligerent, imho jv is not "all that"
Anybody who watched him Buffalo knows how good he isl This is no great revelation. Buffalo stunk but they don't suck anymore and will likely make the playoffs next year.
