Coach’s Corner: Dallas Eakins breaks down Stars’ game-tying goal
Former Anaheim Ducks coach Dallas Eakins looks at the Dallas Stars’ breakout that led to a goal opportunity… and the team’s second game-tying goal of the night.
For christ sakes does anyone even listen to Eakins? They ought to.Does Dallas even know what the hell he is really talking about? Because I do not think he does he is actually teaching Bettman how and why the Faceoffs along the walls from frozen pucks MUST BE RETURNED TO THE GAME…..for gods sakes 80% of the game is played within 3 feet of the boards because its been forced there by the removal of the Frozen Puck Faceoff….and now statistics teach us that Faceoffs drive exponentially high offense…creating more goals and excitement for the Fans. Bring back those Faceoffs that were mistakenly removed from the game because we all want to see more offense and more excitement. Kevin Bieksa needs to give Eakins a good firm talking to so Dallas can start working to bring back the traditional part of the game that since its removal has forced the whole league to play 80% of the game within 3 feet of the boards. Dallas doesnt know he has been groomed by Moma2 for this job of forcing change in the entire NHL in ways he did not expect. Eakins sees the game in a unique way more than a Coaches way he is actually a FUTURIST who is now channeling the growth and evolution of the very game itself….he has found his niche and it is not Coaching it is growing the game itself. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Did Bruce Boudreau die that he couldn't do this "coach's corner"?

Is this segment really called "Coach's Corner"?
Dallas will never win the cup
Put some respect on Parry's name š¤¦āāļø
Love hearing perspective from a modern NHL coach, good stuff
