Vaxjo is a top tier SHL organization, won the league this year. Competitive every year. Be interesting to see where he slots in. It’s not a bad move since he had some injury troubles this year, and still needs to bulk up.
I wonder if his choosing SHL over AHL will impact his standing in the Sabres organization. Might be the one to go if we move a prospect for immediate help. Kid is quite talented though, I’d hate to lose him.

Not surprised. When he was drafted he literally said “I’ll plan to be in Sweden for the next two years and then I’m moving to Buffalo.”
Guy is solid though, excited to see what he develops into
