The New York Islanders players left the team facility to head home for the offseason on May 1st. Today is May 31st but the fans have still not heard from GM Lou Lamoriello and head coach Lane Lambert nor has the team said anything about their futures or the direction the team will take this offseason. The fans are increasingly frustrated by the lack of communication from the organization.

Not like i expect to ever hear from lou but what is he supposed to say? 'Sorry isle fans. 'I have fkd this franchise for five years and i am incapable of doing anything more with this roster'. He wont get any top ufa. He has nothing to do until day two of the draft. He wont wake up from his summer slumber until july 2nd to do some bottom barrell garbage ufa hunting. I wish when silent lou finally goes to the mike he says 'i resign' and goes back into hibernation. There is dufus, treveling, other gm options out there more capable than lou. And dufus will probably get pen gm job. And trotz just canned heinz to bring in his former player/cats coach brunette. I pity the next gm and the holland type wing mess lou leaves him to clean up.
