It’s a shame that these California teams acknowledge the fact that you gotta go OHL when drafting players. It seems like they always draft studs from the O. Unlike the f’ing leafs, who play in the SAME PROVINCE. They got Mitch who’s amazing, but they need to put an emphasis on drafting kids from Ontario
Just ended Minnesota game and Drysdale had serious skill and confidence level(creativity, fast pass, mobility to hold line) with puck on the line at fading seconds of the Minnesota game. Eakins did right thing sending Drysdale under highest pressure right from bat. I had not heard of Drysdale. But all I can tell now there is a star born with 100% certainty. I hope he can take it and keeps head down enough. Now Ducks have solid new guys Hakanpää(muscle) and Drysdale(brain) and Zegras(hero) contributing for success. It is very thin line between success and failure in NHL and now they suddenly have assets to stay on the success side. Maybe too late for this season but still Eakins must show some results to be able to keep his job.
