Yaroslav Askarov has been recognized as one of the premier goaltending prospects for the past several years. He’s often compared stylistically to Andrei Vasilevskiy and plays a very enjoyable and exciting game. Askarov possesses top-tier athleticism and has some very strong and projectable qualities such as his tracking. He has some bad habits he needs to iron-out before he goes to the NHL, but he is on a good track.
