Hate to see anyone lose their job but…good.

It feels as if every season, a former flyer breaks out

Hell, the LA championship team was had just about the exact flyers line as the year prior lol

    Tony Androckitis confirmed the report.

    [I’m able to confirm @ADiMarco25
‘s report re: changes to #Flyers development staff.
In addition, I’m hearing Brady Robinson will remain goalie development coach & Kjell Samuelsson will remain in the organization, but it won’t be on the player development side. @InsideAHLHockey](https://twitter.com/TonyAndrock/status/1663902077502865413)

[The moves were made about two weeks ago. Not sure why there wasn’t any formal announcement (perhaps waiting until replacements are hired).
This is commonplace when a new GM (& President of Hockey Ops) take over. The front office and hockey operations staffs will be re-worked.](https://twitter.com/TonyAndrock/status/1663902079398682625)

Not knowing anything about these people, I assume Flyers are revamping their development staff knowing the team is going to have a boatload of developmental prospects and incoming draft picks. More than usual.

When an organization continuously underperforms with a high budget changes have to be made. Never root for someone to loose their job but a shakeup is certainly needed all around.

Hope they catch on somewhere else, but this was long overdue. Not sure who is responsible, but we seem more injury-prone than ‘bad luck’ could conjure, and I always thought it was the development staff pushing guys in the wrong direction or changing them to a style of play that would get them hurt or something. I don’t what, but it never felt right to me.

Remember when Nashville said they basically had to teach Myers how to play hockey because of what the Flyers did to him, but they just gave up? Thats probably super common.

  7. I’m gonna be real, I have no idea who these folks are. I agree however there needs to be some let go and our development needs revamping.

  8. Our player development has been downright awful for a long time. Every now and then we get someone that comes up that seems like they could take that next step but it feels like they end up with a 2nd or 3rd line ceiling. You can’t build a competitive team if you can’t home grow some strong talent.
