If I was Leaf's GM no way I'm trading Nylander. What kind of message does that send to the team, or any future players who might be traded to Toronto?

Leafs fans who dont want Lindholm and prefer Hanifin just makes me realize that leafs fans are actually out of their minds. Sure…take Hanifin…a 2/3 dman. Leave the 40 goal scorer selke candidate 2-way C who will probably be in line for captain of sweden.

Treliving needs to get settled in his new role and NOT make reactive moves….that's the worse thing he could do!!!! There's no Q in my mind, however, that some upgrades are needed to get Leafs to the next level.
