Lockeroom chemistry is always sited as a huge component of Chamionship teams of all major sports… Year one misfits set the culture for the years that have come of warmly welcoming & accepting all the new guys, including coaches, to the team no matter the drama heaped upon them from the C-suite. IMO a very underestimated advantage for the TEAM.
Cassidy unleashed the best of Wild Bill. I remember when DeBore took over mid season and William came back from injury he demoted him to 3rd line. Now we hear all the talking heads calling Karlsson a great shut down center… Edmonton did everything they could to keep MacJesus and the German away from him. Ditto with Eichel. Kudos to the Coach.
