Kevin Rooney (former Mike Tyson trainer) a trainer in the Catskills brings several of his fighters to training camp. I worked with him at his gym years ago, I sparred with a fighter of his there (Buster Mathis Jr ) before he had to face Tyson.

@Nhanc3dplay cus was alot older, but rooney gained weight and shaved his head so it gives him a diff look.
@bxnyfordham hey this is don from alpaboxing. buster mathis jr trained at the old catskill gym that was once tysons gym, before he fought tyson. i spared with mathis before he fought tyson at the catskill gym. if i ever get off my ass and go through my scrapbook, i can post some pics of us sparing that day and with rooney and some of his fighters at the time.
Rooney should be where Roach is today. I think he learned from his mistakes of the past.
I used to train at the gym back in 95 I remember buster training there for a little bit. his son junior is doing great in boxing now.
