  1. Oh howler means something completely different in football….was expecting to see a goalkeeping error hahaha

  2. Interviewer: Patrik, what's your favourite ice hockey song?
    Laine: – (shoots the puck)
Goal: Ding! That's his favourite song.

  3. As a Jet fan, I surely miss that shot BUT hopefully we get some of that with Pierre. Probably not a rocket of a shot lol…..but goals all the same 😎πŸ₯…

  4. Nothing compared to the Assist of the Century by Mattews Magnificent to Komarov from behind the net.

  5. Didn't even realize the goalie was James Reimer at first, I remember him on the Leafs..always smiling and great passion for the game but just a very mediocre glove hand, didn't stand a chance here.

  6. "Get used to this Columbus, Ohio" Might want to hold off on that after today there chief….

  7. Laine and Tortorella are both major hothead madcap screwballs!πŸ˜€ There will be blood!!! And huge brutal fights!πŸ˜€ Laine is out within a yearπŸ€”πŸ˜€

  8. it almost makes the nhl feel fake when you have seen the same guy take the same shot 50+ times. Maybe don't let this 1 guy do that? I know it's hard but if the one guy scores from that one spot let's say 80% of the time maybe change something?

  9. Lanie is going to be the next ovechkin depending on how his future is he has the same type shot same poisition just everything

  10. The Blue jackets should be interesting heading to post season if they make it this year

  11. They call this a "howler"when Patrick Laine scores but when Ovechkin does it people don't even blink an eye. Pffffffft.

  12. Laine wont stay in Columbus for a long timeπŸ™
"Blue Jackets star forward Patrik Laine was benched during Monday’s win over Carolina because he β€œverbally disrespected” a member of the coaching staff, a source told The Athletic on Tuesday.

Laine didn’t play for the final 26:19, missing the entire third period in a tight game, but it wasn’t the result of his repeated defensive miscues.

Neither Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen nor coach John Tortorella would comment when reached by The Athletic. Laine’s agents, Mike Liut and Andy Scott, did not respond to requests for comment.

The Columbus Dispatch was the first to report Laine’s flare-up with a coach.

It’s unclear which coach had the interaction with Laine or if it was a single interaction or a series of events. Brad Larsen coaches the Blue Jackets’ forwards, while Brad Shaw coaches the defensemen. Those two, along with Tortorella, are on the bench during…"

  13. Too bad the jackets got screwed over by the league in this one, should’ve gone to OT
