everyone is overreacting about that quote from Dubas… he said that thinking it would be his choice. he said i won’t leave you guys basically unless you leave me. and we went on to fire him and he wanted a job

Honestly don't blame him, although we never heard Dubas' story… speculation from insiders seemed to believe Dubas wasn't happy with Shanahan and the BOD approval process for transactions. Wish he was our president, but he's going to do a fantastic job with Pittsburgh.

From Pierre LeBrun: Hearing that Steve Greeley, Director of Hockey Strategy, Scouting and Development for the Dallas Stars, was informed this morning by Fenway Group he was out of running for Penguins GM job.
I would assume that means Kyle Dubas has people in mind for that job

no, the biggest mistake will be resigning Matthew's at 13 to 15 mil which is what he's going to want. Because after that comes Marner who's going to want 12.

As a Penguins fan, I’m excited about Dubas.
Don't have to acheive much as a GM in hockey it seems to end up with a top job. So in 5 years Dubas managed 4 1st round exits and 1 second round exit. Now he has an even higher position on another team 😂
