AP, no risk, cause if Kase plays it will be worth every dollar & more. Sadly, he is potentially one hit away from another concussion (I hope not), but if things go sideways then that salary number will not count against the cap whether injured or in the A. The Leafs have NHL forward depth, so I'm not worried. Lines in my opinion barring injury: Ritchie/Bunting-Matthews-Marner, Ritchie/Bunting-JT-Bill Nye, Kerfoot-Kampf-Kase & Mikheyev-Spezza-Simmonds. Marlies are the spot for Robertson at least to start the year. Brooks the 13th man.
Really hoping Leaf Med staff can do something for him, because he's a very good player "when healthy". It's a gamble, but definitely worth the risk if it pays off. As my Grandfather used to say "it's like getting gravy on the mashed potatoes". See what happens. Hopefully Leaf Nation will show some patience with this guy.
