It’s all just posturing. There is an oversight committee that needs to approve business operations for MSG to run at full capacity. MSG owns the land. Penn Station is using this as an excuse to try and force MSG out of operations so they can buy the land and expand. The approval is up for renewal this summer, that’s why it’s suddenly “an issue”.

This debate has been going on for literal decades. And when MSG did that billion-dollar renovation when the Bridges were put in, you knew they weren’t going anywhere.
