If there is a trade for Debrincat, one guy I'd love to replace him is Konecny from Philly. I feel we could get him and maybe two seconds from Philly or more. But I still hope to keep Cat.
If we can't sign Cat, hopefully we can trade him for a legit #1 goalie
Going to look bad to trade for him at a high price and then trade him the next off season. Not sure how we have gotten to this point already. PD should have had a clue as to his contract demands going forward before signing him.

Maybe the Torey Krug hit in the finals compares, but Krug is much smaller than Tkachuk, who is also much smaller than Stevens lol
Re: pillzy's thoughts on a medium term deal for debrincat – he took a bridge deal in Chicago so now is probably his best chance to cash in big time. For him, another bridge deal is probably out of the question
Try to sign a guy like bertzzi, trade for a goalie, and for gods sake sign Formenton…. no more of this "guilty until proven innocent " nonsense…. come on, he's ok to play in other leagues??? If u can do all that by not being obligated in signing Cat ?? No brainer
Ottawa doesn’t need top end picks to draft studs good ol Mark Stone R:6 pick:178 or Drake Batherson R:4 pick:121 are perfect example’s and since it’s a deep draft I’m hoping the sens hit a gem this year
