Also look how much better their logo is compared to the other seattle teams.

Definitely a Hawks fan as well, but yeah I just don’t care about the Mariners and Sounders, just not my sports 🤷
DeLargeMilkBar
Im not a soccer fan and it’s tough to root for the mariners when their so inconsistent. Last year was awesome but 1 great season since 2001 is a tough sell

I grew up watching mostly the Mariners and the Hawks. I eventually lost interest in baseball after we no longer had Griffey, Johnson, Buhner, Martinez, Wilson, A-Rod, good ol Lou etc. and completely dropped basketball once our team was ripped away from us. My grandfather was from Colombia so naturally I grew up on a lot of soccer. I’m still a
I was always a casual viewer of hockey and always loved it but once we got a team, even though I love football, hockey & the Kraken have my full attention. It’s seriously become my favorite over the last couple seasons. I’m a huge Hawks fan but the Kraken are right there with em.

Not the only one. Tbh I’ve only really ever enjoyed hockey, and that only increased when we got the Kraken.

That is awesome! Thanks for the chuckle, definitely not the only one. In fact heard there is apparently a push to bring an NBA “expansion” team to Seattle and I was like, “Meh”…
Still riding that high from this season. September can’t come soon enough!

Have been a hawks fan for a long time and will always root for them but my diehard fandom has been switched over to the Kraken since the start of their first season!

The Sounders are pretty depressing right now. Pissed off the whole fan base with the shirt sponsor, one goal in the last 4 games and no multiple goal games since April 8! Yikes.
(And yes they are second in the west, because they’ve played 3-5 more games than everyone else)

The Sounders will always be my first love (my dad likes to say I’ve been a fan since before I was born, and I have a 1980 division champs banner on my wall that he got as a kid and handed down to me lol), but I’d be lying if I said the Kraken hadn’t taken over my emotional capacity for sports fandom this year lol. Going to the CCL final last May with my dad will remain one of the best days ever though

When we moved to Seattle the stipulation for becoming Kraken fans with my boyfriend was that we wouldn’t also become Seahawks fans.
Neither of us care for baseball, I watch European Soccer at best, and the boyfriend hates American football enough that I can’t be bothered to get into it.
So, no, you’re not the only one :p
Crazy_King_Bumi
Kraken are the only Seattle team I root for. So, I agree with you.

I will not take any Geno or Metcalf disrespect after making the playoffs before D*nver did
Mrdean2013
Eh. The Hawks and Sounders are looking good.
Mariners? Well when you get outscored 50-15 in two series, it ain’t good
First-Radish727
Hey! What about the Kraken’s roommate, the multi-championship winning Seattle Storm? This may be a transitional season, but WNBA basketball is awesome fun.
I fell in love with Seattle sports by attending Sounders games. I don’t care about the Mariners, but really enjoy T-Mobile Park.
Kraken will always be far and away my favorite team, though.
