    Hey guys, great show yet again! The experience that stands out the most for Treliving is the Gaudrea experience… He won't let that happen to us and that gives me confidence.

    3. Mismanaging Tkachuk situation

    I am happy that you guys are optimistic because I'm not. I think he a horrible choice. I hope that he proves me wrong but I can't see it.

    To be fair Leaf Trolls have to wait and see. The truth is the hardest thing to take for Leaf Fans. Looks like Leaf Executives are trying to tank while rebuilding the core over 3 years & keeping Matthews. So Leafs really remain fun & interesting – the stats show Leafs good regular season play might disappear. That is how Leafs get higher draft picks to replace the existing core & it eliminates Leafs troubles getting out of Round 1 when they donā€™t even make the playoffs like 50% of teams.

    Depending on who's available, I think Keefe has to be replaced. It's true this Leaf's team has plenty of very good players, there is clearly something missing in the overall mix. Keefe has in my view, taken this team as far as he is able. So many games where this squad barley showed up and you could tell that Keefe was as frustrated as the rest of us in
    Leaf Land except that, none of us are the coach, he is, and he just didn't seem to have what the team needed to fire them up.

    I like that Dubas has been replaced. It's time to do the same with the coach.

    Luck is when skill and opportunity meet.Winning the Stanley Cup amongst 30 other teams involves a lot of luck involving injuries,goalie save percentages, overtime success and one team peaking at the right time. Coaches and GMs can go from geniuses to bums with one hit post or an overtime loss or win.The pundits and analysts can dissect all the reasons why a coach or GM should be fired. The only perspective should be whether a team competed each and every night. This is on the coach,GM and players. The players however are in a better position to dictate the luck part of the equation than any coach or GM.

    Trading an Elite Player life span 15-20 years for 2 Average Players life span 3-5 years I don't think so. Trade Nylander for Connor McDavid let's do it! everyone keeps slobbering about how the leafs never won a cup for 50 years. They are an Elite Team, made the playoffs since 2016, best regular season last year. Cups are hard to win. Leafs were not built for play-offs, Covid spoiled the run up in the Cap, they spent high on 4 players expecting the cap to go up. Get those middle ground players you need cap just like Tampa played that well. be patient keep your team together and keep working on harder players to play against, good checking guys with size and mean

    Iā€™m a lurking Pens fan and I was actually skeptical that Dubas would want to come to Pittsburgh as a GM in the immediate future given the reality of our current coreā€™s eventual trajectory. But taking on a position with a little more stability and intended for a longer vision makes more sense now. From both teams perspectives it sounds like theyā€™ll both get the changes they needed. Certainly us changing ownership we are hoping for a new chapter and less friction given that Hextall/Burke werenā€™t their hires. Sounds like both teams just need to get everyone on the same page.     I still can't understand how Leafs fans can make a deity out of Dubas, who has a complete meltdown at his locker cleanout presser and goes on to get a raise (level bump to Shanahan's equal) in Pittsburgh, maybe he is a god??? I think its just a case that we don't know (or underestimate) his deep friendships / relationships / social network in the sports-sphere. He'll now be in the same WhatsApp chat with Shanny and the other 32 President & GM's of the league LOL!

    To answer your question about Hierarchy of Pittsburgh Sports:

    1. Steelers – are by far number one
    2. Pens – Clear number two but a lot closer to number one than people think
    3. Pirates – losing so much really hurt the popularity of the franchise

    I think his fresh set of eyes on the team is needed…. hopefully he buys out Murray ASAP and figures out our Goalie situation. Keep Woll for sure….maybe upgrade to A Hellebyuck!? šŸ˜®…swing a big deal with the Jets with Sammy and a top guy going to the Jets. They're on a downswing anyway.

    Tavares had 36 goals this year and 80 points.., 60% in the faceoff…..I'd say he's still elite. The Tavares downplay is getting tired boys. The man who scored THE goal to finally get us past those fucking Bolts.
