Also a year and a half, I remember media fans were all on board, if the players can't handle Sutter get rid of the player. Now just a year and half later get rid of the coach??? No no no stick to the plan, get rid of the players that don't want to be here. If Wolf comes out and says he hates Sutter then okay that's the time Sutter's contact runs out. Also for the fans that says Sutter doesn't play young kids, look at his 2012 and 2014 cup runs, Quick wasn't old, Doughty wasn't old, Kopitar wasn't old, what Gaborik was the vet??? Sutter was trying to get into the playoffs (93pts with shit goaltending history making kinda shit) Lewis Lucic could have been replaced with younger kids here and there but a lot of respect for these players ending contract for these respected players by the coach the players and I'm sure fans. Sutter runs things like Detroit as an organization and doesn't rush the assets. Firing a Flames legend coach outside of Crisp cup championship for some bums that just join the team! Epic face palm!
Also all them fans that say fire the coach are the ones that go to games wearing Flames jersey until Toronto or Montreal show up and off goes the Flames jersey.
He needed to show maturity and play regardless of the coach. If they don’t move him, there needs to be an attitude readjustment.

I disagree you can get very good value back for kadri to a team who want to win now. Not much salary eaten
You know his 24 goals is 4th best total of career and 32 assists is his 2nd best
If you guys actually think you were going to go far in the playoffs having a coach who has a hard on for a goalie with a DOUBLE GAA against EDM, you're more stupid than I thought. You would have ran into EDM eventually IF you got that far and it would have been another EZ 4 game sweep because your coach hates his backup goaltender. McDavid probably has wet dreams about getting another shot to light up Markstrom again. I've never seen such pitiful, weak goaltending than what I witnessed in round 2 last year. It was pathetic.
And you guys actually wanna run that timeline back again? Same coach? Same goaltender? ROFL! Tkachuk catching the first flight out of YYC makes a lot of sense now.
I hope for Kadri's sake he does get traded, you guys don't deserve to have any superstar players.
Im beginning to wonder about these 3 guys. After just 1 season…all they talk about is cleaning house. Get rid of Hube, Nadri, Taffoli. How bout we get rid of Wolfe…who was just named goaltender of the year for the Wranglers. So while you get rid of these players, who is taking their spots, and how do you know they will play any better.
Would Conroy stand up to Sutter if GM?
It's an awful contract for a guy his age. But even worse is Huberdeau's 10.5m for eight years starting at the age of 30. Second highest paid LWer in the league. Summer of 2022, Trevling screwed the Flames and the cap for years.

Give up a 1st to sign Kadri and the give up a 1st to rid him. Never gonna happen. That would be the worst sequence of events in nhl history. Brad deserved to leave and I wouldn’t be surprised if good candidates for gm would deny a contract
They should do bad contract for bad contract like Lucic/ Neal deal if it’s that much of a relationship issue
