“***Personal News***
My family and I want to thank the Wirtz family and the entire Chicago Blackhawks organization for a two great years working for one of the greatest organizations in sports. We will miss the thunderous noise of the United Center and the great city of Chicago where our daughter was born. At this time, we have decided it’s important for my family to be back close to our family and our home in Philadelphia.”

I know he’s gotten some hate but I really enjoyed Colby’s insight on the broadcast. Philly is going to need someone to take Jonesy’s role, hope Colby can be part of that.
Between this and panger joining us I’m happy with the direction broadcasts are going. Colby always rubbed me the wrong way so I’m glad it can be a win win for all involved and there is no hard feelings
Thank god

Good bye cheeseball, mark Lazarus next, even though he’s not officially affiliated
Great news. Now bring back Pat and Eddie.
I know he hasn’t been super well liked but he seems like a good dude and I hope it works out for him.
Best of luck, roly poly.
I like the dude but wasnt a fan of his work. He knows hockey though. I feel like he’d be pretty good on a longer format show, like a podcast or something.
He seemed really excited about the Bedard pick on the CHGO podcast a week or so ago. Wonder if he’s leaving voluntarily. Maybe he got sick of all the weird fan hate.
Sad. I liked him and Vosters as the young guns
This pleases me.
I do wish him the best.
Great, he stunk
This had to be coming for a while. He never fit the broadcast.
Ironically he is better on the podcast he does. Doesn’t sound like a Muppet.
This does actually make me a little sad. I was excited to see him and Vosters grow.
Colby started rough, but he got better towards the end. Way better in between the benches than as the color. He’s still got a lot of work to do imo before he is ready for the booth. I’m happy to see him cut his teeth elsewhere, but I do wish him luck.
I hope Darling stays in the mix, I enjoyed him in the studio last season!
Damn, I really like him. He was so nice to everyone, he actually knew what he was talking about, and he wasn’t too opinionated. He was about has perfect as it could get really.
I liked him. Was always fun to hear him go on a rant about the refs
