Get some guys who can score when it actually matters and don’t need a five pass setup to do it.
In the absence of any real explanation as to why the Leafs have done well in the regular season and failed in the post season, blame Marner. That is the knee-jerk position….The guy had 14 playoff points in 12 games….

Who are the starting goalies in the finals right now? Bobrovsky and Hill? Who were they at the start of the season?
Roll the dice with what we have to start the season and only look for replacements if all of them bomb.
Give Samsonov and Woll a go at it. Fortify the defensive core instead. I don’t think leafs goaltending is an issue.

I don't think these guys understand how good Juuse Saros is and how valuable he is to Nashville. Doing Nylander 1 for 1 isn't nearly enough.
Apart from being a bad hockey move, Nashville would RIOT if this was Trotz first real move as GM.
