I have zero idea if this guy (@DucksGamedayBreakdown on IG) is credible. But he reportedly heard from a source who sells team-issued and direct-from-manufacturer jerseys that the Ducks will no longer wear their orange alternates.
Assuming the Ducks will have a 30th-anniversary jersey this year, there’s a chance the orange is simply on the shelf for one season. Or could it be a larger sign that the original Mighty Ducks colors are in play?
FWIW: Some of his other posts support the not-so-secret rumor that the rebrand to the original logo IS happening, though likely not this year. However, expect the Ducks to phase the webbed D out more and more over time

I am really hoping for a full rebrand of our old logo and colors, but I won’t hold my breath. However, nostalgia has become a popular theme throughout our current culture including sportswear (Padres going back to the Friar and the return of the Kachina in Arizona as a couple of examples). Over the years I have notice a desire from fans from different teams and sports expressing their fondness of the cross sticks and helmet esthetics. It could be a big cash grab and give the Ducks a distinct look that most of us love. Especially with our team on the rise to becoming a playoff contender in the years to come. I would love to see the MIGHTY Ducks hoist the cup one day. Of course, that’s most like a fantasy, but a dude can dream.
