Never liked Dubois. Hated the trade when it happened. Not as much as I hated that Schmidt trade. Glad he will be gone but we won't get much for him.

With how he pushed himself out of Columbus after signing a deal, I just don’t like Dubois and I kind of hope the Jets force him to play out the contract instead of giving in to his trade request. I doubt they will so my next best hope is that his career goes nowhere.

I’m just here to say I hate the Heritage jersey. We got enuf red white blue unis in league and CBJ already has the best rendition of a Jets Heritage jersey. Also if you’re putting a dark logo on a dark uni you need the top of the hockey stick to make a white circle around the logo as per the way it was on merch in the 80s. Course if you really went heritage it would be the away logo from the 80s which was white.

Florida left Marssesault unprotected during the expansion draft. Tampa let Marssesault go to FL because he wasn’t getting playing time. Same thing with Verhaeghe. Tampa draft picks both.
I see constant rumors of Dubois to Montréal since the end of the season of Winnipeg…thing is, even if he would fit on the roster and Montréal just have all the cards to do it, i feel he is not plan A for Kent Hugues this draft or summer…probably more like plan C or D, it think Montréal os looking more in the Rangers direction or Anaheim for Comtois. There are issue with him moving so much and i don't know how St-Louis would deal with him. I might be wrong too and Lecavalier talent and character scouting give good vibes for Hugues.. We will see and his agent Pat Brisson is hsrd to deal with so…

Dubois is an annoying pumpkin. No team should want him and Chevytakestoomanydaysoff should have been fired for trading Laine for Dubois. Dubois pulls this all the time. He was the same in college, with Columbus and now with the Jets. He plays when he feels like it and quits on teams when he feels like it. The NHL should make an example out of him and boot him from the league. Why any team would want a quitting brat is beyond me. He's worse than Eric Lindros.
Dubois isn't all that good. He wasn't that great in Columbus and he stinks in Winnipeg.
The Jets really need to rebuild and outside of Connor and Morrissey there isn’t anybody I wouldn’t trade for a ridiculous price. Cuz realistically some teams will pay out the nose for either one of Scheifele or Hellebuyck.
Dubois is a good player but only trading him won’t give them enough to be contenders like they want.
$350K sounds good to me. I've never made even 1/3rd as much. On the other hand, $550 a week is about $3000 a month. Hockey season is, what, 7 months. So $21,000 a year is working at McDonald's money. If you're young I could see doing it a couple of years for the love of the game and for fun. Also, it's probably a good way to get into coaching, if that's what you want for your real, long-term career.

Definitely a key off-season for the Jets. What is your options about Pat Brisson’s tactics for creating specific requests for a player under team control…seems like it will be difficult for the Jets to get fair value for a trade because of the agent …seems like fuzzy tampering
Marchessault is the one that got away from when he was a regular in the Tampa Bay lineup. Loathed the moment he went to FLA, love him in VGK. I even have a Lego figurine of Marchessault in a VGK jersey! One of my favorite current day players easily top 3. Kucherov, McDavid, Marchessault are my top 3 🙂

If I'm a GM trying to build a playoff contender, I'm not going after a multi-millionaire player who has quit on two different teams in short order. That's not something you want in your dressing room.
