    not a good trade if you ask me, sounds like the new guys are now running the team and dale is no longer in control. Well it was great while dale was in control but i can't condone this move, at all. Vancouver's depth is the most pitiful in the league so not sure why the panthers would want someone from their depth pool that they're actually willing to get rid of. Gudbranson is the type of dman you can't find every day, this was a big mistake in my opinion.

    Literally wtf. I can't believe dale talon is not our gm anymore. Our new uniforms are trash. We already have soooooo many forwards and not much defense. McCann scored 9 goals in 69 game like bruh. I feel like this new direction will completely fuck us up. It's a shame because of what we have built up. And this new gm is trying to get Malkin for Petrovic and Huberdeau. I don't get it at all.

    Still a lot of summer to go. Vatanen, Barrie, Shattenkirk etc in trades. Soup is UFA but could still re-sign in July. Relax. I loved Guds as much as anyone … but when he wants north of 4.5 mil taking Ekblad, Tro, Huberdeaus future money. Peace. I guess wanted $$$ more than being captain on winning team. Petrovic is #4-5 Dmen soon enough plus cap space and McCann> (Mick'CAN pronounced)

    Never thought much of Gudbranson, and I don't know jack about Mccann but heard he was good. That second round pick is what I most happy about.

    Amazing trade, believe me this was one of the trades that was to good to say no to. Mccann is a more valuable player than Guddy is because he is only 19 has a measured hockey IQ thats off the charts he could easily be a good second line player for a while AND we got a 2nd and 4th round pick for a 5th, I loved guddy and thought he was going to take the C but this trade was a no brainer guys

    This was a great video. Speaking as a Canucks fan – we really don't see the Panthers play much, so when the trade broke initially so many Canucks fans were pissed because all we really knew about Gudbranson (most of us, anyway), was what we saw player stat line, which in and of itself was  pretty alarming initially, without considering his intangibles, like physicality and leadership which at the end of the day may make all the difference. Also that McCann had shown so much promise on a team that had played so terrible this year. If he gets decent ice time next year I could definitely see him getting 20 + goals. I think the consensus on the deal so far is that Canucks fans feel as though they had overpaid by including our 2nd round pick. whether or not that is actually the case though remains to be seen I suppose. In any event though I really look forward to seeing how both players fair next year on their new teams.
