I know some players like them VERY tight where there toes are jammed in the front. He may wear a size or so small compared to shoe.

I wear a size 12 shoe, my skates are 9.5ee. I am 6’3”-6’4”
Some people have slightly smaller feet proportional to their size, so zuccy being like 5’7”5’8” doesn’t seem too crazy that he rocks a 5.5 skate and probably like a 7 or 8 shoe.

The good news is his parents never had to pay senior prices for skates growing up lol. I remember the sticker shock for mine when I got my last pair of skates
