  1. Buddy was good in the corners. He's big and with time will be strong.

buddy will be hoisting the cup in MTL as MVP

  2. Slafkovsky = Kotkaniemi 2.0
    Dvorsky = Kotkaniemi 3.0
Habs learned their lesson and this time they will pick Benson, Leonard, Smith

  3. I agree that we can’t make judgement on a guy given 4th line minutes! I think he will be a big part of our top 6 going forward !!

  4. I couldn't agree more Tropical!! He does show moments of brilliance! He has some developing to do for sure but, like you say he's was only 18 playing at the NHL level!! I'm excited to see him in a few more years. I believe he's only going to get better and could potentially be a great top 6 winger, if toxic Habs fans and sports casters don't drive him to another team first 😅

  5. This years draft will take some of that new toy expectation off of slaf. I expect him to have a solid year playing 3rd line minutes. Not a bust

  6. Hmm, he may not be another Jagr. I guess he is a bust, lol
I can see him getting 15 goals and 20 assists this season on the 3rd line, and im ok with that. Just want to see him progressing. When he hits 23/24 thats when i expect him to hit his stride, and put up 65-70+ pts

  7. Some players blossom later and he is very young. He has a coach that should help him. Who knows what he will be , my expectation is he would be a top 3 to 4 forward and give you at minimum 70-75 points a season. Let’s see how how the other picks develop in order to evaluate : Nemec , Cooley , Wright , Gauthier

  8. Thanks, man. Thank you for saying this.
Look at Dach, for example. Chicago quit on him, and they will regret it. Let’s not be Chicago, never be Chicago.

  9. 50 pts next season. I love your optimism. So I will join you in this prediction. I would have been more comfortable with 40 pts, but fuck it, let’s do 50. I’m in.

  10. I totaly agree. This KID wasnt sent down last year so he can LEARN the nhl game faster, In doing this we speed up his development to play nhl hockey. He will be fine. 1st Caulfield Suzuki Dach, Second Slafkovsky Pld Anderson, 3rd Roy Beck Rhp, 4th Gallagher Dvorak Reeves.. Great team hard for anybody to fail on a team of guys that love hockey…. Hairs Florida pick and Jake Evens for Pld.. Reeves bring protection for the 3 new Rookies as dose the sheriff💪

  11. Completely agree what is with our fanbase hating on slaf and I’ve even seen them hate on caufeild and his new contract when he was on pace for 40+ goals it’s ridiculous no wonder we can’t bring in free agents it ain’t worth it playing with the habs and dealing with our fans and the media

  13. He's got everything : size, strength, compete, character, hands, shot, skating, speed, vision, A+ passing, board play, forecheck, net front, respectable 2 way game. Its just a matter of time, need to adjust to the speed of the NHL first and he's gonna make the doubters shut up. Just wait until he grows into his frame

  14. The simple fact that a bunch of people already claim Bedard will be a bust just says everything. For like the last 6 years the new trend in the league is to call the first overall pick a bust for some reason, the only exception was Owen Power because he didn't play in the nhl on his first year

  15. Anyone who thinks Juraj is a bust should step away from the crack pipe, pull their head out of their @$$ and get some clean air! Very seldom do you get a rookie like Teemu Selanne that starts off in the NHL with a great scoring run! Give the kid 4 years and then judge!!

  16. Needs Ahl time, score 15 to 20 play on #1 line and #1 pp. Maybe one day he will be a very good 25+ winger.

  17. I agree with everything you said. I disagreed with the decision to bring him to the nhl last season but yes teach him to pick up his head, give him minutes, give him time. He's just a kid, have a great day

  18. I agree people are ignorant. Nothing going on around Slafkovski right now is the best thing that can happen for him. He will be a very good player. They will praise him then, and say they always knew he would be good.

  19. Well done, Trop.
Keeping the newer, inexperienced hockey fan off the ledge is noble work.

Kirby Dach is just one of many examples, but he is 3 years older than Slafkovsky and was given up on. Why don't we give the kid some time, folks. Losing him will haunt us someday.

  20. You are 1000x right!
You can't compare to other drafted players junior, ncaa, ahl are all shit leagues compared to the NHL.
The kid is 6'3" 238 lbs at 18 years old ( now 19 ) that is a gd freak monster. 18 years old!!!!!! 238lbs!!!!!!!
    No fat!!!!!!! Skilled player!!!!
    Do people realize that????
Not a goon but a TALENTED player.
He never played in North America, not used to the size of the ice, the super fast pace of the NHL, the hitting, fighting, 21000 thousand fans, the jet set lifestyle.
    Give the kid a break!!!
He's a monster kid! Give him 5 years to addapt and then when he's 23 you'll see when his man strength kicks in
He will be a scary force to be recon with,
    Unstopable.

  21. Many people don't see beyond the end of their noses… 😉 Slaf in addition to raw on ice talent, got a very solid ego and personality, so don't worry, he will be a fan favorite before long and many teams will envy us.

  22. It's so frustrating the hate this kid gets. He's barely 19. He will be fine. Love the kid and I love your videos.

  23. LOL Some couch coaches haven't a clue. He will be a great addition to the habs line-up. He needs time obviously. He is only 19 or 20? I agree with you.

  24. This is a good take, all the people saying he won’t be able to score any points are the same people who are gonna say they always believed and cheered for him in a couple years. Couldn’t imagine calling him a bust when he’s barely out of high school

  25. How are ppl making this conclusion, the guy hasnt even played a full season smdh
