If the leafs allow Seattle to pick Kerfoot over a Dermott or Holl they have lost it haha – Kerfoot is one of the few forwards who skates hard and digs in the corners.

could the Leafs go 7 and 3, protecting Kerf, Simmons and Spezza out of respect, and expose both Holl and Dermott? Only one can go. Not sure it's the best, but Kerfoot's contract is ok I guess(trade asset), and both veterans really want to be here.

I dont mind the group of Leaf players, If you dont sign Hyman you nee someone like him. Robertson is ready, thats a pretty good Fwd group. Sandin is ready and will be good. PRIORITY is a goalie, maybe another grit guy or two, but need a coach that can manage players. You only get ice if you are going good regardless of your salary, otherwise another guy takes your spot until you earn it back, including PP. Ice time is the only currency in hockey.
