Kane and Toews are gone. Never coming back, not gonna happen. As a Hawks fan, the team has completely moved on with their departure at the end of the season.
The rebuild is far from over. They are entering year 2 of the rebuild. They need to have 1 more high draft and then they can start building around Bedard
We honestly already have veteran talent in Murphy and Jones tbh.
I have a hard time selling bedard at point per game as a rookie until i see what Chicago brings in to the forward group. As it stands its the worst forward group in the league by a long shot
franchise known for being scumbags and quite frankly they should of had their first round pick taken away
they will maybe sign one top 6 forward, gonna be another lottery year next year and keep on developing and try to compete in Bedards 3rd year
Bedard will not be a point per game player as rookie in the NHL. Not with the team hes playing with. If he gets 65 points, thats a HUGE overachievement.
