The good news is Mathew Barzal did draw a crosschecking penalty off Brent Burns. The bad news is he joined him in the box after being called for embellishment. Have your say!
Burns is a big dude and he has his arms fully extended. Barzal has his edges digging in and gets tipped over. They is no leg launch or fake falling over. Terrible call.
Awful call if they didn’t call the cross check in a playoff game it wouldn’t surprise me but in my opinion, they only called the embellishment so the Islanders didn’t get a five on three!

This was a soccer embellishment, where it was def a penalty, but the player didn’t try what so ever to stay on their feet.
Bad embellishment call…especially considering the amounts of Peter Pan and Superman instances in the last few days that weren't called.
