Seattle Kraken 2022 Super Skills Showcase



The First-Ever Seattle Kraken Super Skills Showcase. This was a one-of-a-kind event, open to everyone for just $10 per ticket with net proceeds benefiting the One Roof Foundation. This event generated over $100k for this charity.

Inspired by the NHL All-Star Game, players were put to the test against one another and a few lucky fans to wow us with their speed, accuracy, technique, and tricks. A variety of skill contests including:

Hardest Shot
Shooting Accuracy
Trick-Play
Obstacle Course

Root sports aired this as a “Hockey 101” 30-minute special. The event was 2 hours and the atmosphere was fun with free merch tables and raffle prizes in the concourse. Everybody received a free Depths beanie and many people received autographs from the players by tossing their items over the glass into the player’s benches. Due to the NHL’s ban on fan interaction this year, most Kraken fans have yet to meet any players in person and this was the first time some fans got a chance to do some minimum interaction.

    Attn: The 3/5/22 Capitals vs Kraken game and the 3/6/22 Hurricanes vs Kraken game will be uploaded a day or so after the games air as I’ll be traveling this weekend.
