  1. I feel like I'm watching a ted lasso episode, Nate the great switched to hockey

  2. I like that he sensed something was wrong with Stones‘ stick as he grabs it before it was in two pieces.

  3. The best part about this is that he's probably done that exact same thing 1000 times and it never resulted in a goal. But he kept doing it because he knows the next time could be the time

  4. he was appreciated by the whole team.. That's called teamwork….. bravo vgk

  5. Ask anyone who plays, and they will all tell you that the equipment staff and trainers staff are the most important guys in the organization. Period.

  6. You have to be so engaged and dialed into the game to see that Stones stick blocked that shot, recognize it’s possibly broken, and then immediately grab the correct backup stick for the handoff. The staff behind the scenes do not get enough recognition. They are the veins of the team

  7. That's awesome he knew the stick was broken before stone did. I'm pretty sure he realized it was broken by the sound it made

  8. No league is for giving vegas the special treatment by letting stone play even though he shouldn’t be because the cap and shouldn’t get to play after missing the whole season and wouldn’t have played anyway because they would be over salary cap

  9. Vegas has been professional in work ethic. It's not about one individual, but the whole picture of winning the Cup. No trouble makers on Vegas, I really like the culture they have in the organization. Well done boys 👦

  10. As much as I hated to see that goal, gotta feel good for that guy. What a clutch play by the equipment managers.

  11. Howden from Aiken and Stephenson. Stone gets no assist since without Aiken, he has no stick with which to make the pass to Howden.

  12. I personally think players who lose their stick should go to the bench after the puck clears the defensive zone.
