Rookies Nils Hoglander and Olli Juolevi have been two bright spots for the Vancouver Canucks. Hoglander never seems to lose a puck battle, while Juolevi has been solid.

Hey clay love the vids if you an have one player gone from this team who would it be
I like how they've handled juolevi and his deployment, after all the criticism on picking him 5th to how long its taken for him to play NHL games, of all the guys who scored there 1st goal Hughes petterson boeser Virtanen horvat, I was most happy for juolevi.
OJ transition is not the best
If Virt is traded, even if all we get back is a 3rd, I'd be fine with it. He hasn't earned a spot on the team, and we could use as much of his 2.55M salary as we can get rid of. I still think we will be a power in the 2020s, but this year is likely to be a washout. If I remember correctly, the Spooner salary comes off the books after this season. Meaning we can retain 2 salaries if needed for trades. I'd be fine with resigning Sutter, but at a much lower number. Buying out Eriksson is a must, so who could be next? Beagle? Roussel? Myers?
And yes, Hoglander and Juolevi (Hog much more so) have been pleasant surprises this year. Very much looking forward to Podkolzin coming over. Maybe that will help Tryamkin to sign her also.
What do you think of the play so far of Nils Hoglander and Olli Juolevi?
Surprisingly no one got fired yet.
I'm all for Boss Hog and Olli 👍
Hard to understand the switch. I thought Chatfield struggled from game one and his last game was a total disaster.
How will they get past Markstrom? Mistakes are still haunting them!
Hopefully by trading either Jake or Gaudette (or both) we can get a 3rd line player who helps the line gel together (even if Sutter remains 3C and MacEwen is RW, having that playmaker who plays a similar style but with skill would be great).
They have to be like Perry and Tkachuck screen him!
“Pepper pot” describes well Hoglander. I’m amazed how he’s strong on the board and winning battle. He’s using well his low center gravity.
Hoglander, Pettersson and Boeser might be an interesting line.
Joulevi has proven nothing to date. Has lots of issues. Comparing Joulevi's play to that of Hoglander is absurd. Need to be real in your comments
Bang for Buck Juolevi has been better than most of of the D.
If the top 6 can't dominate or consistently beat their opponent. Should we spread them out amongst the 4 lines, creating a more balanced attack? We typically designate our best offensive players for the top 6 but if we created a more balanced 4 lines could this create a mismatch for our bottom six? If the bottom 6 starts producing we could possibly leverage that for trades.
The Blues and Golden knights both targeted Markstrom glove hand in the playoffs last year, must say something on his scouting report
Hoggy is great.. amazing he can just step in and be one of the very best… likely in Top4 or so… Has been great !!
