  1. I have Danielson at 10, Willander at 11, Wood at 13, and Barlow at 15, so I don't see any of them as big reaches for 11OA. If those are the guys the Canucks are looking at, I'm happy with that.

  2. IMO the decision for trading down will go down to the wire. They have their list and if a lot are available when 8/9 is picked…. they will be making calls.

  3. Red Wings will trade up from 17 IMO if the player Yzerman is targeting is available. My guess = Pellinkka

  4. Canycks would save a whole lota money if the owners bit the bullet and just buy out the plug OEL
So much talk about tradong Garland, Boeser, Myers ets
    OEL IS the real problem

  5. Trade the 11th pick and Boeser and Garland to Chicago for 19th pick and 2 2nd rounders. Hawks are interested in bigger wingers to flank Bedard.

  6. It was a mistake to trade a 1st rounder for Hronek even if he's a good player. So many good prospects in this draft

  7. Chicago would be the perfect trading partner. Canucks can get rid of some contracts for the Hawks 19th, and their extra 1st next year. Or, they could pick up the Hawks 19th and their two second rounders. Of course, because the Hawks hold the main prize, the tears would flow.

  8. Best draft of the decade. Vancouver of course will trade their only 1st round pick away for a salary dump. And then with our new cap space, as you expected, we will sign another Lori Erikson failure in UFA. Sure call me negative. This is the Canucks run by Aquaman that we are talking about. Murphy's Law constantly applies to the Canucks without failing, the only thing that doesn't fail around here.
