Hoffman is a sniper but didn't have much to offer in return aka defensive style, gritty play tec. Even Cole has better positioning than Hoffman in a defensive role but also is putting up better numbers. He would be better situated on a team than has more depth and can afford a player standing there until the puck hits his stick.
